Pushpendra Singh is PhD candidate in Engineering Sciences (Operations Research) at Dartmouth College, where he specializes in transportation network design, optimization modelling and simulation. His doctoral research, under guidance of Dr. Vikrant Vaze, focuses on optimizing shared micromobility service networks and developing scalable algorithms for airline operations.
Pushpendra holds two years master’s degrees from the University of Michigan: one in Industrial and Operations Engineering and another in Computational Discovery and Engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, graduating with first class distinction.
Professionally, Pushpendra has served as a SAP BW Consultant at Woolsworths Group (TCS) in Sydney, Australia, where he developed automated data pipelines, optimized reporting tools and co-developed inventory planning solutions.
Pushpendra will start as a Lecturer (forthcoming, January 2026) at Dartmouth College. He previously served as a Teaching Assistant for courses such as Statistical Methods in Engineering and Operations Research. He has also been a Graduate Student Instructor for Time Sesries Analysis at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
